FABTECH 2018, Nov. 6-8, is at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

Metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing event FABTECH 2018, Nov. 6-8, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, announced the 2018 speaker and event lineup including the FABx Tech Talk series, keynote presentations, expert panel discussions, and interactive networking events.

Day one keynote presentations, which feature FABx Tech Talks designed to emulate the popular TED-style concept, will spotlight visionary leaders who will motivate and inspire attendees during short inspirational talks on topics highlighting transformation, growth, advancement, and expansion for the future of manufacturing.

Speakers include: Dennis Adamovich, CEO, College Football Hall of Fame; Julia Crews, senior change management training consultant, Ignite Women Leaders Founder; Charlie Covert, vice president of customer solutions, UPS; Shawn Cole, vice president, Delta Cargo, Delta Air Lines Inc.; Dan Kara, vice president, robotics, WTWH; and Aaron Kaufmann, “Shifting Gears” (Discovery Channel), owner, Arclight Fabrication.

FABTECH 2018 days two and three will feature additional keynote presentations that will provide attendees with insights into the industry and how to approach challenges in creative, innovative ways. NASCAR icon and philanthropist Kyle Petty will take the FABTECH audience on an anecdotal journey through his life as a businessman, philanthropist and as one of NASCAR’s most respected drivers. He will explore consistently striving for excellence, living up to your promises, teamwork, community and commitment to family.

Additionally, Jonah & David Stillman, best-selling authors, generation experts, and father-son duo, team up on day three to shed light on career expectations and the work outlook for the next generation.

Expert panel presentations allow for collaboration and discussions about the current state of the industry, trends and future outlook. FABTECH panels include: “Innovate, Accelerate and Advance Manufacturing,” the “State of the Industry” and “Manufacturing and the New Generation Workforce.”
