Folks, it’s September. In other parts of the nation, one might talk about the changing of the seasons and the first tendrils of crisp fall air creeping in, promising respite from the summer heat. But this isn’t another part of the nation. This is Texas. As we all collectively sigh at the never-ending 90º highs and the constant stream of hot, muggy evenings, let’s not forget the prime directive here: show up, have fun. And so, with very little segue and a lot of enthusiasm, here it is: our picks for the top five things to do in The Woodlands this week.
If you’re young(ish) and looking for some networking opportunities, look no further than The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce’s monthly After Hours networking event. Fun times for all can be had – and for a good cause – if one attends the annual “Shootout Hunger” event hosted by the Montgomery County Food Bank this Friday, September 13. Attendees will have the opportunity to shoot some clay pigeons. All in the name of charity, mind you! Click here to register for the event.
